Night one on the trip from Heller Bar to Hammer Creek on the Lower Salmon, near Short Creek. This is the first of many a beautiful white sandy beach along the Lower Salmon River. Thank God they didn’t dam this beautiful river. Doug is apparently crunk…he declares.
